Lucy's story

Lucy is twenty-four years old. She is married and has given birth to two children, both in school. She lives with her children and husband in a rented apartment in a busy commercial town called Ejura in the Ashanti region of Ghana.

Lucy is a petty trader. She sells all kinds of cereals such as maize, beans, groundnuts, etc. She procures the goods from nearby communities. She sells at the local market to food vendors and retailers.

Lucy has been in business for barely one year and wants a loan to procure goods in bulk. She is hopeful to give her children the best education she can afford.
