A loan of $700 helped to buy Ghanaian footwear for retail.

Abena's story

Abena is 41 years old, and is married with one child who has just completed senior high and is awaiting his results to enter tertiary education. She is a hardworking woman who trades in Ghanaian-made slippers, shoes and sandals for both men and women. Abena takes delivery of stock from Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana. She purchases shoes in different sizes, colors and designs so that her customers can make their choice. She rents a stand in the market where she sells her footwear.

Abena has no regrets about the business because it has given her lots of experience in marketing and sales. She is requesting a loan to buy stock in bulk, and would be grateful for your support.
