A loan helped a member to buy fabric, blouses and sweaters to sell.

Dúo Mujeres Comerciantes Group's story

Doña Zoila is a member of Dúo Comerciante. For the last 10 years she has made her living selling traditional clothing in her home and on the street in the small villages of Los Ajuix, Sacsuy and San Raymundo.

She is requesting this loan to buy some traditional Mayan skirts that have been ordered by the Los Ajuix school as a school uniform for the girls. She has an order and doesn't have enough capital to invest. She is hoping that Kiva will help her. She also wants to buy blouses and sweaters to sell them so she can make better earnings.
