Sen H., 52, is a widow with four children. She resides in Phnom Penh City, Cambodia, with her children. To make a living, she is engaged in a business of selling groceries at a local market. She is able to generate an income of US$5 per day as a primary source of income for her family. The family also is assisted by one of her children, who is currently employed as garment factory worker. She is able to earn an income of US$3 per day to help cover her mother’s household expenses.
The members of H.’s family are seeking to improve their standard of living and to expand their current business.
