A loan of $350 helped buy products to increase her business.

María Alejandrina's story

María is a single mother; she has a six month old baby. She lives with her parents and her grandmother in the Anexo San Sebastián, which belongs to the Centro Poblado Romero in the Mórrope district. It is located 40 from the city of Chiclayo.

She has a convenience store, which is in her house. With the store she tries to pay her expenses and to help the family economically. Currently she travels once a week to the city of Chiclayo to buy merchandise. With great effort she is getting ahead in her business.

The continual demand from her neighbors in the area and other villages has made her think about expanding her business. She would do this by purchasing more basic needs type products (rice, sugar, oil), groceries, and drinks (soft drinks and beer).

That is why she is asking Edpyme Alternativea, for the first time, for a loan for 1,000 PEN.

María intends to keep growing with her business and to keep serving the people in her area and in adjacent areas. She is a woman who is a fighter, and she always tries to get her loved ones ahead.
