Sokhea's Group's story

Aged 35 and a resident from Kampot province, Sokhea is married and blessed with one schoolchild.

For ten years, she has been growing lemongrass as her main source of income. She earns additional income by working as a construction worker.

This is a first time loan for Sokhea with VisionFund and she has formed a group of three members to seek this loan.

As the leader, she will spend her loan portion to buy more fertilizer to improve the yields on her lemongrass farmland.

With this loan, and better yields, she hope for an increase in income to be able to update her family’s living and to pay on time for her child’s education.
