A loan of $300 helped pay for labor needed to harvest his crop of lima beans.

Jorge Alberto's story

Jorge is a 42 year old father who lives with his wife and four children in the neighborhood of El Tabacal in Túcume District, which is located 45 minutes away from the city of Chiclayo.

He has been engaged in agriculture for 15 years. Jorge previously worked as a casual farm laborer, but this job did not provide enough income to support his family. He decided to rent a field near his home and has been devoted to farming on a regular basis.

Jorge is currently harvesting his crop of lima beans. He has requested assistance from some of his neighbors to help finish harvesting his crops, but he does not have the money to pay them. For this reason, he has requested a loan from Edpyme Alternativa in the amount of 800 soles so that he can pay wages for the harvest work being done.

Jorge is a father who is very responsible in raising his children. Two of his children currently attend school while the other two help with the farming chores. His greatest wish is to acquire his own land so that he can continue farming.

This is the second time Jorge has requested a loan from Edpyme Alternativa. He has demonstrated that he is responsible and punctual with his payments.
