A loan of $350 helped purchase a new motor for his vehicle.

Walter's story

Walter is a single young man who is 28 years old. He lives with his parents in a cramped home, located in a crowded district in the city of Lima. He has worked full-time as a taxi driver for the past 6 years. His job is not easy and requires tremendous sacrifice. Walter knows he has to leave the house early in order to find customers. Most of these people are complete strangers who he has never met before, but rely on him for transportation.

Walter is a charismatic driver who works Monday through Saturday all day because the work generates good income and enables him to support his parents and grow on a personal level. As he spends his days driving through the streets, Walter dreams of advancing in life and fulfilling his goals. He wants to repair his car, his only tool for work, because the current engine is failing. He will use his loan to purchase a replacement.

This will be Walter’s second loan with MFP. He promises to be punctual with all of his payments. Along with a new motor, he plans to buy insurance so that he can continue driving. His future goal is to provide a better quality of life for his family.
