A loan helped to buy new sets of pajamas and scarves to keep pace with fashion and attract more clients.

Hanadi's story

Meet an enthusiastic and dauntless woman named Hanadi! She is 38 years old, a Palestinian divorced woman with no kids, who lives with her modest family in an owned apartment located in Mount Lebanon. In order to help her parents with household expenses, she established her business four years ago in her owned store. She began selling scarves and clothes to improve her standard of living.

For the first time, Hanadi is asking for a loan from IBDAA, a Kiva partner. She requested this loan to buy a new set of scarves and pajamas to keep pace with fashion and increase the level of her profits. She is trying to expand her customer base. Hanadi is confident that she will be a successful lady.

Her parents are supporting and encouraging her. She is loved by everyone due to her good manners. By supporting her business, Hanadi will be more comfortable.

This loan is special because:

It doesn’t require a guarantor, reaching underserved women in Lebanon.
