Jacqueline C. R. lives in the May 1st neighborhood in the city of El Alto. She is single and the mother of three children. She has had an internet café business, located in her house, for the past five years.

She began 10 years ago by selling household appliances in the July 16th Market. Two years later she joined Pro Mujer and got her first micro loan, with which she increased her amount of merchandise and her sales until she was able to save up a small amount of capital. Her continued association with Pro Mujer allowed her to open her internet business.

Due to the demand in her neighborhood, Jacqueline needs to invest in more computer equipment and furniture, with the goal of expanding her business to meet existing demand.
