Beatrice's story

Beatrice is a 25-year-old businesswoman who runs a tailoring shop in Embakasi village in Nairobi. She has been in this business for two years now. She is requesting a loan of Kes.35,000 after successful repayment of an earlier loan to add to her stock of fabrics and purchase an additional sewing machine. She hopes to own a well-stocked boutique as she imports clothes in bulk and this loan will go a long way in facilitating this vision. She describes herself as hardworking and determined.
