A loan helped a member to restock more bales of clothes of different age groups.

Bosses Group's story

Starting a well-established business was not an easy task for Linda, since she had very little capital. She started off by selling clothes that she restocked from across the border in South Africa.

She was getting only a few returns. She was using that money to maintain her household upkeep, supported by her husband, who works at a local company.

2007 was the year Linda was sure she was doing business. She did not give up in selling her little clothing stock. As soon as the word of Thrive got into Linda’s ears, she had nothing to delay her. She joined forces with three others and got a group loan.

Linda is now 45 years old and is a mother of three, and all are still going to school. With her returns getting better, in 2016, Linda managed to start restocking clothes in bales from across the border, in Mozambique.

She got a loan to restock more bales of clothes for different age groups so that she would have all ages as her customers to strengthen her business and widen her customer base.
