A loan helped us move to the next BIG step; to have our own place to sell our artisan/creative products.

Nyreen's story

I'm a mom of two beautiful kids and after working almost 16 years at a regulated industry, I loose my job due to a site closure. The worldwide economic crisis affect us in any other way. After that I decided that was the perfect opportunity to spent more time with my kids and to launch one of the many dream ideas I always had. During one and a half year I sell home baked pastries, on festivals to save enough money to start my business.
Business plan was created and we were ready to roll the streets. Artsy Pops was born on July 21, 2014, and since then we keep moving forward "las rueditas". Yes! I have a business. By now we have 2 popsicles push-carts and a food truck to sell our refreshing & creative creations through our island Puerto Rico. I had provided a working space for 4 people who already were unemployed too.

This loan is special because:

It will help the entrepreneur move to a permanent location and better serve her customers.
