Lydia's story

Lydia is thirty-five years old. She is married and has given birth to four children who are all in school. She lives with her children and husband in a rented apartment in a busy commercial/farming community in the Brong Ahafo Region called Goaso. She is a food vendor.

Lydia runs a chop (food) bar in her community. She buys foodstuffs such as cassava, plantains, etc. from nearby towns. She prepares and sells all kinds of local dishes. Lydia has been in business for three years and wants a loan to buy foodstuffs and other ingredients in bulk.
