Odsuren's story

B. is 46 years old and lives with her husband and two daughters, ages 17 and 12, in the Arkhangai province of Mongolia. She and her family live together in a ger, a traditional Mongolian nomadic tent, and both her daughters go to a local high school. Her husband operates a taxi service in their town while B. operates a retail food business. She cooks the food in the family’s ger and delivers it all over town to markets and office buildings.

B.'s working capital now exceeds 450,000 tugrug (~316 USD) and she has established a loyal customer following because of her delicious, quality meals. B. is requesting a 900,000 tugrug (~630 USD) loan so that she can purchase food supplies and a new stove for her business.
