A loan helped a member to buy piglets.

Ang Cang 28 Group's story

Un is 59-year-old Thai ethnic lady who is married and has two sons. She lives with her husband, her adult son, her daughter-in-law, and her granddaughter in a Thai traditional stilt house.

Un did not have the chance to study and receive a good education, so currently she is illiterate. She did not want her son to be the same as her. However, because of a difficult situation, her son had no chance to study in university after finishing high school.

Her family's income relies on agricultural production, such as growing rice, corn and coffee, and raising pigs and poultry. Her main hardship is disease in her chickens and rice, which leads to low productivity.

Currently, she has taken out a loan from Anh Chi Em to buy six piglets for raising and selling. She plans to use the profit from this investment for the treatment of her husband’s eyes. Her husband is sick and he cannot see anything. She hopes that her husband's health will be better.
