Clara's story

Clara is a dynamic and very collaborative member who lives in the city of Pucallpa. She is 41 years old, and the mother of 3 children, 2 of whom are grown up. She dedicates herself to selling meals. She does this every day on the path by her house, from early morning until noon. She is a single mother and has always worked to get ahead.


Clara has been a part of the “Women for Progress” Communal Bank for 5 years. The first loan she received was for 300 sols which she used to buy soda water to sell. At present, Clara needs to borrow 1000 sols to buy products to facilitate the sale of items on her menu.


Clara's goal is to have a restaurant and sell regional dishes.
