Stephen's story

Stephen is a 31 year old father of two. He supplies electricity to the residents of the Kayaba part of the Mukuru slums and also sells kerosene. He has been in this business for five years and hopes to own Matatus (public service vehicles) in the next ten years. He is requesting a loan of Kes. 50,000 to add to his stock of kerosene. He describes himself as social and jovial.
