Fultusi's story

Fultusi is a 22-year-old married woman from Nadia District, West Bengal. She is engaged in the weaving business. She has a household of four members and a monthly income of INR 8,500. She, along with her husband, purchases raw thread from the market, processes it and weaves it into saris.

She wants to expand their business by purchasing more raw materials such as thread. She has applied for a loan of INR 20,000 from Gram Bikash Kendra, one of Milaap's field partners.
