Annabel Natividad's story

Annbel Sánchez is a member of the Everes Communal Bank, located in the community of Quemado in the province of Manabí. It is a peaceful agricultural community.

Annabel is married to Jacinto, a master house builder. She is 28 years old and has 3 children aged 8 years, 6 years, and a baby of 10 months. She takes the baby with her wherever she goes.

Annabel’s business is selling clothes, such as pants, blouses, underwear and costume jewelry. She travels around the community visiting her clients, who are mostly women. She has been in business for about two years. Business has been good and she enjoys it a lot. She orders her merchandise from distributors in order to make a better profit. This loan will be used for the purchase of merchandise to fill some pending orders, and to stock up on clothing and cosmetics for the Christmas season.

Annabel has already realized one of her dreams – to have her own house. She is beginning to save to decorate the house, which is the only thing she lacks to complete her dream.
