A loan helped to plow the land, purchase herbicides, manure and seeds, and to pay for daily labourers, so that he will increase production.

Miguel Mariano's story

Miguel is a typical farmer, 51 years old, and he has the strength and high capacity for work typical of Colombians. Miguel has been making a living in farming for the last thirty years in the municipality of Ovejas. He lives in a free partnership.

He is requesting a loan, which he will use to plow the land, purchase herbicides, manure and seeds, and pay day labourers, so that he will increase production. Even if this will lengthen his work day, he does this all for his family.
