A loan of $900 helped purchase supplies for food preparation.

Lusbe's story

Sra. Lusbe is a member of the Communal Bank “Virgen del Rosario” which is in the District of Bellavista, Bellavista Province, Department of San Martín. She is 48 years old, single, and the mother of 4 dependent children. Secure in her knowledge of preparing different types of dishes, Lusbe took the initiative to secure her first loan of 300 soles to start selling food. She operates out of her home, which is well suited for her business. Despite being in business for a long time, Lusbe continues to do well because of her loyal customers who visit her daily. She greets everyone with her charismatic personality.

With this loan of 2500 soles, she will purchase supplies for her daily preparation of meals such as sacks of rice, sugar, packets of oil, cases of chicken, and utensils to maintain her business and provide better service to her customers. As long as she has the strength, Lusbe feels she can continue working so that she can get ahead and secure a peaceful retirement. She is grateful to Manuela Ramos for helping her fulfill her dreams and goals.
