A loan helped to purchase three dairy cows in order to increase the sale of organic milk.

Zina's story

Zina is 52 years old, married and has a son. She has secondary education. As a main income for her family, she has worked with livestock breeding and field crop cultivation since 1997. Thanks to Zina's persistent work and the help of her family, her farm currently has two cows and 15 sheep. She also has a plot of land of 2 hectares, on which she grows beans.

Zina has a contract to provide organic milk to the local factory for further processing into dairy products. This allows Zina to continuously invest in her agricultural business. She learned that at the bank "Bai Tushum", she can get a loan with security in the future volume of the contract, within the frames of the product "Value Added Chain". She applied for a loan in the amount of 150,000 som (KGS) to purchase three dairy cows, to increase the volume of milk for selling.

The payment for the milk from the factory is transferred directly to Zina's bank account, and the down payment on the loan is automatically deducted. The income from the loan helps Zina increase her herd, and finish building her house.
