Raquel Vanessa's story

Sra. Raquel is a member of the Communal Bank “Primero de Agosto” (First of August), which is located in the District of Zepita, Chucuito Province, Department of Puno. She is 22 years old, married, and has 2 children. Raquel lives in Jr. 28 de Julio 583 and completed her high school education.

She has been working with Manuela Ramos for 2 years. Her first loan of 300 soles provided additional capital for her food business. She is now requesting a new loan of 2300 soles to buy rice, sugar, noodles, vegetables, condiments, propane, and other items for preparing food. She sells her dishes from her small restaurant.

Raquel hopes to have a larger restaurant or open a chicken shop. She enjoys her savings and the Communal Bank meetings.
