Delia Dalila's story

Mrs. Delia Dalila V. F. is 43-years-old and lives in the district of Trujillo, in the province of Trujillo, in the department of La Libertad in Peru.
She belongs to the "Mujeres Valerosas" (Brave Women) Communal Bank. The entrepreneur completed her education through the 3rd year of secondary school. She is married and has three children whom are economically dependent on her because they are in school.

Delia buys and sells plastic and glass goods which she brings to sell at places in La Sierra Liberteña such as Otuzco, Huamachuco, and towns surrounding Trujillo like Viru, Chao, etc. She sells glasses, jars, tupperware, and tubs along with her husband who accompanies her and helps with sales when she travels.

Her first loan of 300 Peruvian soles was invested to buy plastic tubs and tupperware. She will use this new loan of 2,200 Peruvian soles to buy more glass and plastic goods. She dreams of growing her business so she she will be able to cover the expenses of her family and children.
