A loan of $3,525 helped a member operating capital.

Las Aguilas Group's story

Catherine represents the Las Águilas Group, which is comprised of 14 members. They are engaged in businesses like selling clothes, food, cosmetics, bread, empanadas, and soft drinks. Some of them have work as porters, as taxi drivers, and as domestic employees. All of them have scant resources, but they are very hard-working and responsible. That is the reason that they do not have much competition. Their work is hard and difficult to do.

The loan is to invest in new businesses to leave some difficult jobs like being a domestic employee and carrying luggage. These jobs are having an adverse affect on the members’ health. The rest of the members need a loan to buy cheaper merchandise and supplies to increase their sales and improve their income. This will help them improve the quality of life for their families.

As far as the members’ experience goes, they have demonstrated responsibility in their payments. Above all, all of them have the desire to keep growing. That is why the institution offers them a new economic support.

In this group: Katerine, Claudia Andrea, Rigoberto, Mauricio, Gladys Yaneth, Fernando, Vania Iveth, Isabel, Cleidy Karina, Maria Deisy, Asunta, Patricia, Marlene, Marbeln
