A loan helped to buy three dairy cows in order to increase her livestock headcount and her sales of organic milk.

Jyldyz's story

Jyldyz is 36 years old, married, with three children. She has a secondary education. Since 2008 she has been involved in animal husbandry and agriculture, two activities which constitute her family's main source of business. Thanks to her very hard work, and also to the support of her husband, she currently has one cow, 30 sheep, and six horses on her farm. She also owns 3.36 hectares of land on which she cultivates beans.

Jyldyz has a contract to supply organic milk to a local plant for further processing into dairy products. This allows her to continuously invest in her agricultural business. Having learned that, through Bai Tushum Bank, she can receive a loan with security of contract for future delivery with the Value Chain loan product, she has applied for a loan of 150,000 som (KGS). She will use her money to buy three dairy cows in order to increase her cattle headcount as well as her sales of milk. The factory's payments for the milk will be deposited directly into her bank account and the loan payments will be automatically deducted. The earnings from her loan will help Jyldyz to build a house and give a good education to her children.
