Elisa Gomes's story

Elisa N. was born in Maputo, the country's capital, she is 23 years old, she is married and has 1 daughter who is 6 months old, she lives with her husband at her parents in law. She finished the 11th grade, and didn't finished school due to her pregnancy.

She left Maputo with her parents were transferred back in 2006 and went to live in Boane, where she currently lives with her husband and has a business. She works with her husband and has 2 employees to help at the business. At the store she is able to obtain 15.000MT a month and is able to save some money at the Commercial Bank BIM.

She never requested a loan at any other banks before, she learned about Hluvuku thru his husband who is client of the institution. This is her first loan for 13.700MT which will be used to buy beer, wine, other beverages and products, in order to increase the volume of her business. It has been difficult to sell during the winter because demand is low for those products during the season.

The large objective is to answer the necessities of the house like health, food, studies and others. In the future she would like to access more loans to build their own house and attend college.
