A loan helped a member purchase vegetables, meat, ham, cheese, eggs, chicken, and other products.

Nueva Esperanza Group's story

The Nueva Esperanza (New Hope) lending group is made up of 17 women who decided to work together in order to get ahead. They are putting in all of their energy and efforts into getting ahead.

One of the members, Maria, works selling food. She works every day, starting early in the morning preparing the meals that she sells in the afternoons on foot. She is someone who has sacrificed a lot, and despite the daily challenges, she does not allow herself to be defeated. Through her work she is helping her family.

She is seeking a loan in order to purchase supplies with which to make her meals, such as vegetables, meat, ham, cheese, eggs, chicken, and other products. She is thankful for the opportunity to receive a loan so that she can invest in her business.

In this group: Cesarina, Reinalda, Zonia, Digna, Angela, Maria, Estela, Maria, Herminia, Vilma, María, Antonia, Digna, Lurdes, Rosa, Zulma, Antolina
