Jiguisseme Group's story

Assitan is the person holding the ram by the horn in the photo. Assitan is a 39 year old Malian sheep raiser. She is married and the mother of five children aged from 4 to 17 years old. Her husband is a farmer.

She has been operating her business raising sheep for five years and she gets her stock at the surrounding markets. After her sales her profit can vary from 30,000 to 40,000 XOF per month. With her earnings she manages to support her family's needs such as health coverage, clothing, the children's education and food.

In the future Assitan plans to get larger loans to develop her business and satisfy the needs of her customers and those of her family.
