A loan of $975 helped purchase basic grains, candy, dairy products, cosmetics, and other items.

Lorenza Catalina's story

Sra. Lorenza Catalina C. is 41 years old and lives in the neighborhood of Buenos Aires, which is located in the town of Ticuantepe. She and her husband work together and support one another with the household expenses. They have four dependent children who all attend school. Their plans include providing their family with better living conditions since they do not have any privacy. The living room currently houses Lorenza’s business and the rest of her family feels a bit uncomfortable.

Five years ago, through her hard work and assistance from her husband, Lorenza was able to establish her small grocery store. However, increases in prices have prevented her from growing her business. Thanks to the approval of her loan, she will be able to better diversify her products so that she can generate better earnings. Lorenza plans to buy basic grains, candy, dairy products, cosmetics, and other items.

In the future, she would like to purchase construction materials to build a structure to contain her small business that is separate from her house.
