A loan of $525 helped buy a "motocarro" to rent out.

Edith's story

Edith T. is a dynamic woman. She lives in the city of Pucallpa in the Ucayali region. She is 34, and she has two minor children. She is a single mother. She puts forth great effort to get ahead and give her children the best.

She sells vegetable stew in the different markets in her area. She has been part of the La Positiva Communal Bank for four years. With her first loan of 300 PEN she bought some articles of clothing to sell.

She currently needs a loan for 1,500 PEN to buy a “motocarro” (three wheeled motorized vehicle). That way she can have a daily income because she will rent it out.

Edith’s goal is to have her own sweets business and to keep getting ahead in her work.
