Carmen Laura A., de 27 años cuenta que hace 3 años trabaja con Pro Mujer por invitación de su madre que ya pertenecía al grupo Nuevo Porvenir, del Centro Focal Panamericana, tiene el negocio de elaboración de estampados en diferentes prendas, como llaveros, vasos, ropa y otros, requiere el préstamo para comprar insumos como lona, tela, pintura ya que en cualquier momento le hacen pedidos grandes. Ella trabaja con su esposo quien elabora los productos y ella los vende o consigue los pedidos, tiene su tienda en la ciudad de La Paz en la Calle Murillo, a Carmen también le gusta el ahorro dice al respecto “se ahorra sin sentir y puedes usar ese ahorro para emergencias”.
Al igual que Carmen las demás integrantes del grupo también tienen sus propios negocios como la venta de manoplas, sombreros, alimentos secos, colchas y comida. Todas necesitan del préstamo para comprar mercadería e insumos.
