Damas Bibosi Group's story

The group “Damas Bibosi” [“Ladies Bibosi”] is lead by Mr. Loreto and is composed of 12 members that are responsible and punctual in their payments. The majority of the group members sell cosmetics, and others sell Dulce de Leche [caramel desert], jam, and other candies. Other group members own neighborhood stores stocked with groceries, run a hair salon, and make and distribute bread. Market competition is high, but the group members have worked in their various fields for years, and count on loyal clients and business experience so they don’t worry much about competition. The loan will be used to acquire merchandise, supplies, and materials that will help generate higher profits so that they can offer their families a better quality of life. As far as their loan experience, the group members are in their first loan cycle with the institution, but they already have experience in institutions similar to the Agrocapital Foundation through which they understand the methods of solidarity loans. One of the members is with her mother in the photograph.
