Alice's story

Alice is thirty-five years old. She is married and has given birth to four children, all in school. She lives with her husband and children in a rented apartment in a town called Dormaa, in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. Dormaa is a commercial and farming town. Alice is a trader who runs a cold store. She buys fresh fish from big cold stores in Kumasi, and sells the fish in her shop by the roadside in her community.
