Good News Group's story

Eva is thirty – one years old. She is married and has given birth to two children, both in school. She lives with her husband and children in a rented apartment in a town called Dormaa in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. Dormaa is a commercial and farming town. Eva is a trader. She trades in printed textile materials. She is the leader of a trust bank group called ‘Good News’. The group is made of mostly traders and food vendors. Some hawk to sell in their community while others also trek to nearby communities to sell. The group wants a loan to help them buy goods in bulk to increase their stock.
