A loan of $1,050 helped purchasing beauty products to sell.

Rosa Imelda's story

Mrs. Rosa Imelda belongs to the community bank "Manos Unidos" in the Tarapoto District, San Martín Province, Department of San Martín. She is single, 49 years old and a mother of two, one of which still depends on her. Rosa Imelda is a hard-working strong woman who had to work extremely hard in her life, but her desire to get ahead resulted well for her. Currently, she sells products from catalogs from different brands like Unique, Esika and Avon. She is very happy with what she's accomplished.

With this loan of 3000 soles she will buy beauty products for her stock to sell like perfumes and colognes for women and men, cream, compact powder, lip liner, and nail polish, as well as another glass case to show her products.

Due to her experience, Rosa Imelda is an example for other women to follow to start their own businesses and, with perseverance, realize their dreams. She is very grateful to the Manuela Ramos Movement for helping her and other women like herself to begin their own businesses and grow as businesswomen.
