A loan of $350 helped to purchase iron sheet siding for the papyrus walls of her restaurant.

Sumbua's story

Sumbua B. runs a restaurant that serves tea and bread. Her restaurant walls are thatched with papyrus. Sumbua is requesting a loan in order to buy siding made of iron sheets to cover the walls of her restaurant.

Sumbua is 29 years old and is married to a policeman. She has two children. Both her children go to school. With the extra profits from her loan, Sumbua hopes to be able to build a backer for the restaurant walls.
