Felistus's story

Felistus is a 38-year-old married mother of four who sells new and used clothes in Machakos, a busy market town near Nairobi. She has been in this business for five years and previously worked in farming. She is requesting a loan for 40,000 shillings to buy more clothes to sell. She describes herself as hardworking and optimistic. Her dream is to own a big well stocked shop so that she can earn enough to pay university fees for all four of her children.
