Said's story

Said A. is 30 years old and a married father of two children. His wife, Susan Okora, is 26 years old and is a business lady. Said operates a store in Shanzu, Mombasa, where he sells clothes and shoes. His business is eight years old and is a success.

Said is accessing his first loan from KADET and he plans to use it to purchase more shoes and clothes for his store. Currently, Said's major customers are residents of the beach town of Shanzu. Said hopes to expand his business by opening a chain of stores in the future and to diversify his source of income by venturing into the car-rental market.
