A loan of $500 helped to purchase raw ingredients needed to make food products to sell.

Anarosa's story

Anarosa I. is a 27-year-old woman living in the town of Vaimea. She is married and has 3 infant-aged children. To make a living, Anarosa owns and operates a business venture making and selling food. While not the only means for generating revenue, the main source of income for the business comes from selling fried foods in the local community. Anarosa has been engaged in this business for over 3 years and earns approximately 500 WST a month from these activities.

Anarosa joined SPBD to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Anarosa successfully repaid a previous loan of 1250 WST from SPBD. This previous loan was used to purchase raw ingredients needed to make products to sell. Anarosa is now requesting a new loan of 1250 WST, which will also be used to purchase raw ingredients needed to make products to sell. The loan will be the third loan taken out by Anarosa from SPBD. Anarosa plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve/expand her business.
