A loan of $1,075 helped to open a laboratory and buying lab equipment.

Kefah's story

Kefah is a qualified doctor, he has been running his own clinic and chemist in Naivasha town for the last four years. He is 38 years old, married to Eunice Bochere and they have one school going child.

He was introduced to KADET by his friend and this will be his third loan. He repaid the two previous loans well by using the proceeds of the other loans to restock medicine in the clinic and also his chemist. He plans to open a laboratory for his business with proceeds of the third loan and also buy lab equipments.

In the near future, Kefah plans to build an in patient ward at his clinic since at the moment he only serves outpatient clients. This will not only increase his income but also help him employ others as he gets to have close follow-up on his patients.
