Benção De Deus Group's story

The Benção de Deus Group has been a client of the Banco do Povo Crédito Solidário (BPCS) for 2 years. The members live in the community of Diadema in São Paulo. Kelly runs a small snack bar from home, selling snacks and soft drinks. Renata sells clothes and shoes. Maria sells chocolates from door to door. Tatiana is a hairdresser and attends to her customers at home.

Cassilene is the group leader. She is not married, but she has two daughters and she works to support her household. One of her daughters helps with her work. Cassilene runs a small hair salon and has been working for many years. She likes her work and feels happy and fulfilled, because she achieved financial independence through this work. She will use the loan to buy hair products, dyes, chemicals, moisturisers, nail polish and pliers for her customer's beauty treatments. The extra income will allow her to expand her salon.

In future, the whole group plans to serve more customers, so they are grateful for the investors' support to help with this expansion.
