Chumki's story

Chumki is a 19-year-old hailing from the Murshidabad district of West Bengal. She runs a milk business and her family has three members. They have a household monthly income of 8,000 INR.

She wants to expand this business and has requested a loan of 20,000 INR from Milaap's field partner BJS. With the funds, she can purchase another cow and increase the quantity of milk and milk products like curd, cottage cheese, etc. She is indebted to the lenders for their support.
