A loan helped us move Rabbit Hole Improv into a permanent home, with new lights, chairs, stage, and working capital.

Nicole's story

We, Nicole Vance and Jason Watts, met in 2007 at Laughing Matter, an improv troupe at Heller Theatre, in Tulsa OK. Sharing a passion for goofy characters and bad puns, we got married and continued performing and producing improv shows. We decided to take the challenge of making it a business. After a few years of studying business and creating a plan, we felt very positive that the Comedy Parlor was the best bet. We opened in 2013 and quickly realized that we were in over our heads. We were creating work for ourselves that we couldn't sustain. In September 2017, we closed the doors on the Parlor to give us the freedom to reinvent our business.

We are so excited about Rabbit Hole Improv! We have stayed busy working on the new incarnation. And now, we feel stronger and leaner, ready to get back to producing fun, funny shows and classes. Our dream is that we help make Tulsa a little bit funnier and playful.

This loan is special because:

It helps a female entrepreneur establish the infrastructure for her improv theater.
