Mayra attended school until 9th grade. She is a single mother and her daughter is in the school.

Mayra, sells corn tamales and other traditional food. She has 10 years on experience in this business which she learned from one of her sisters.
She goes out selling in the canton and the neighboring areas with the help of her mother.

She will use the loan to buy corn to make and sell tamales.

Mayra dreams of her daughter continuing her studies and becoming a professional. And as her business improves and generates more profits, she will be closer to fulfilling her dreams.
