A loan of $425 helped she will invest in drinks, sweets and other products that her store requires.

Luisdi's story

Lusdi is a cooperative and active person and a 34-year-old mother of three children, one of legal age and two minors. She sells general groceries and runs a store out of her home. She relies on the support of her husband, who is the driver of a motorcar (of his own). She is a member of the “Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza” communal bank, and her first loan was for 300 soles, which she invested in items for her store. With this loan of 1200 soles, she will buy drinks, sweets and other products that her store requires. Lusdi's goal is to expand her shop's offerings and be able to sell other types of products, such as hardware items and clothing.
