Den S. is 54 years old and runs a motor-taxi in the Battambang province. His business has been around for about four years and he makes US$4 every day, while his wife sells vegetables and earns US$3 every day. Selling fruit has been a difficult business, as there is high inflation and weather conditions that have not been conducive to a good growing season. Den S. is asking for a loan of US$1200 to expand his wife’s business.
