Duk S., 39, is married with four children and resides in Takeo province. To make a living, she is involved in the agriculture sector as a rice field farmer on her plot of farmland, earning approximately US $1 per day. Her husband operates his motor-taxi in the city at some crowded places, earning an income of US $4 per day as the primary source of income of the family. To make a better standard of living, she is asking for a loan of US $1200 to purchase a new motorbike for her husband to improve his business because the old motorbike consumes a lot of gasoline and becomes broken very often.
