Lomé, Togo / Food Production/Sales

A loan of $1,125 helped to purchase food products and generic medicines.

Dado Denise's story

This woman lives in the neighborhood of Attiégou in Lomé. She is very well experienced in the sale of general foodstuffs; she launched this business in 1994. She has a keen sense of management, which mean that she is currently enlarging her shop. In fact, at the moment she is currently selling pharmaceutical products, "generic products" which earn good revenues for her. In the future she intends to also sell "pagnes" (colorful wax cloth) and to open another boutique in a different neighborhood of her choosing. She has an urgent need to renew her stock of certain products - it is for this reason that she is requesting a loan from the micro-finance institution WAGES. She will use the loan to purchase 5 cartons of Pick brand milk, 5 cartons of pasta, 3 cartons of tomatoes, 12 boxes of paracetamol and several other products. She is married and the mother of 2 children.
